The National Geographic Institute (IGN) located an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 between the islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, in the area of the Enmedio volcano.
This tremor, with a hypocenter at a depth of 13 kilometers, was recorded by the national seismic network at 9:22 p.m.
It was felt in several locations in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, with intensity III in Fasnia and Güímar, with intensity II-III in La Orotava, Vega de San Mateo, Los Realejos and Candelaria, and intensity II in Agaete, Arafo, Gáldar, Tejeda, The Village of San Nicolás and Granadilla de Abona.
