The Telesforo Bravo-Juan Coello Foundation has forcefully denounced in his social networks the lack of civility that has occurred in recent days in the environment of Teide National Park after the huge influx of people due to the snowfalls that have occurred in the last week. “A paradise for madmen”, The foundation calls what they have been able to collect in a video of just half a minute.

“We have a big problem because they are not isolated events. It is starting to become a habit”add the publication in reference to the images in which people are observed riding a bicycle down the slope in the Pista de Ramón Caminero area, shortly after its start at the Mirador de Corral del Niño.

“Last weekend a lot of people went up and among them, these madmen. We recommend that you watch this video until the end because there are even those who laugh at their thanks”, they commented from the Foundation and recalled in their publication that what they were doing is “absolutely prohibited”. “The lack of environmental education, civility and means to monitor, turn this protected natural space into a recreational park”, they point out.

“When we say that we have a social problem, it is because as a society, we must not give up educating, denouncing and isolating the uncivil. We cannot remain impassive in the face of the degradation of our natural and cultural heritage,” they conclude in their complaint through facebook .
