SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canary Islands have registered a total of 108 new positive cases of coronavirus this Thursday, bringing the total number of infected since the pandemic began to 96,989, according to the balance of data updated every 24 hours by the Ministry of Health.
In total, the islands have 947 active cases, with 80 hospitalized in the ward (+4) and 15 in the ICU (+1).
In addition, the death of a person has been registered, bringing the number of deaths to 1,006.
By islands, Tenerife adds a total of 52 new cases, with 46,326 accumulated and 434 active and Gran Canaria, 26 new positives, with 37,009 accumulated and 370 active.
In Lanzarote there have been nine new cases that give way to 7,069 accumulated and 52 active, while in Fuerteventura there are five more cases, with 4,582 accumulated and 69 active.
On La Palma there has been a rebound with 16 new cases bringing the total number to 1,128, 18 of them active.
In El Hierro and La Gomera there are no new cases and they remain with 467 and 407 accumulated cases respectively.
The Accumulated Incidence rebounds slightly with 27.67 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and 48.48 cases at 14 days and so far this Thursday 2,243,627 diagnostic tests have been performed with 5.69% positive.
