A 26-year-old man of Dutch nationality had to be evacuated this Thursday from a beach in Adeje due to moderate abdominal pain and not being able to leave the place. To do this, he needed to be rescued by the GES and evacuated to the Adeje Volunteer Fire Department helipad where an ambulance from the SUC was waiting for him to be transferred to Hospiten Sur.
Specifically, it was at 2:02 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert requesting health care for a person with a health problem that presented abdominal pain and could not leave Morteros beach on his own.
It was then that the 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and the GES helicopter located the area of the incident, rescued the affected person and transferred him to the helipad of the Adeje volunteer firefighters, where the SUC ambulance was waiting. who assisted him and took care of his transfer to the hospital.
