The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Pedro Martín, together with the first vice president, Enrique Arriaga, and the second vice president, Berta Pérez, presented this Tuesday the budgets of the Island Corporation for the year 2022, which amount to 874.3 million euros , 3.8% more than the previous year.
The president of the Cabildo stressed that, despite the economic crisis and the decrease in income, the budget for next year grows by just over 32 million and economic redistribution prevails from a territorial point of view, having take into account “the needs and not the political colors”.
For her part, the second vice president and head of the Presidency, Finance and Modernization areas, Berta Pérez, highlighted that they are “balanced” accounts from an economic and territorial point of view, as well as “an anti-cyclical budget that grows, therefore, As in all times of crisis, only the public sector can serve as an engine for the economy to grow. “
