SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Civil Guard agents belonging to the Tenerife Traffic Subsector are investigating more than a hundred drivers for driving without the corresponding permit and who were detected at different controls that were established on the island’s roads.
The agents detected that some of the drivers had their license withdrawn by court ruling, others by resolution of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters, some had never obtained it and there were cases in which it was detected that they had a false license or usurped the identity of another person.
Thus, the Civil Guard began Operation ‘Compliance TF’ with the aim of carrying out investigation and investigation procedures to locate drivers who were not complying with the different sentences and resolutions that prohibited them from driving during the time established in them.
Within the framework of this operation, in the last three months a total of 120 drivers who were circulating on Tenerife’s highways have been located and investigated, committing different crimes against road safety, when driving without a driving license. The drivers were informed of their rights and brought to justice.
