“A complex situation”
The mayor of La Guancha, Antonio Hernández, reported this change in restrictions on Radio La Guancha: “At last we are recovering normality. It has been a complex situation, our network has many problems, but consumption in the population has decreased and that has allowed us to solve all the problems that have arisen. At last we can say to all the guancheros that the water we offer is again treated water in the plant in its entirety and we hope that in the next analyzes, which we have already ordered, they will confirm that the fluoride values reach the levels established by Health Public so that minors under 8 years of age can also drink public water ».
The Guanchero Consistory emphasizes that the fluoride levels in water established by the General Directorate of Public Health for children under 8 years of age must reflect values below 1.5 milligrams per liter (mg / l).
