The number of admitted to UMI grows 58% in the course of 24 hours

The number of patients with Covid requiring assistance in critical areas on the Islands increased 58% within 24 hours, going from the 24 notified on Tuesday to 38 that the Ministry of Health of the autonomic Executive reported yesterday. The President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, asked this Wednesday to “take extreme precautions” in the face of the increase in Covid infections and the existence of a new variant of the virus.
