SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
RadioTelevisión Española (RTVE), in collaboration with the Association of Musical Promoters (APM), the WiZink Center and the Cabildo de La Palma, organizes a macro concert on January 8 in Madrid whose benefits will go to those affected by the volcano of The Palm.
Under the slogan ‘Music with La Palma: Stronger than the volcano’, RTVE is preparing a great concert at the WiZink Center in Madrid in which groups of different musical genres will participate, aimed at a wide audience.
In addition, it will have a replica stage on the island of La Palma with a large screen that will broadcast the Madrid concert live.
RTVE, together with Spanish music, thus sympathizes with the personal and economic tragedy that the La Palma volcano is causing after more than two months of activity.
The Association of Musical Promoters (APM) is the main representative of the live music industry in Spain.
Its partners are responsible for the main national and international tours and festivals held in the country and it has also been in charge of editing the Live Music Yearbook for twelve years.
ALL WITH THE PALM
RTVE already launched the ‘Everyone with La Palma’ campaign at the end of September, an initiative to raise funds, in collaboration with the Cabildo, which complements RTVE’s public service work, in permanent connection with the island to inform about the development of the volcanic explosion.
In addition, the RTVE Orchestra and Choir is preparing a charity concert ‘Por la Palma’ aimed at raising funds for those affected on Friday, December 3 at the Monumental Theater, at 7:30 p.m., and in which pieces by Canarian authors will be performed, directed by Ignacio García Vidal.
