Autumn rains in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The heavens will present this Wednesday in Canary Islands intervals of low and high clouds in general, except in the interior of the islands of greater relief, where occasional rains are not ruled out, that will be more intense and likely in The Palm and Tenerife.

According to the weather forecast in the Canary Islands of the Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet) the minimum temperatures will experience few changes, with a slight decrease in the maximums, and the wind will be from the northeast.

As for the state of the sea, it announces a northeast wind of force 3 or 4, soon rising to 5 out to sea on the northwestern, south and southeastern coasts, depending on the islands; tidal wave that will increase to a tidal wave; variable force 1 to 3 wind on the northwestern coasts, breezes, rippling sea or storm surge; and swell from the northwest with waves of 1 to 2 meters and rain.

The weather forecast for this Wednesday, by islands, is as follows:

LANZAROTE

Predominance of cloudy intervals. Temperatures with little change. Northeast wind decreasing to weak during the night hours.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EXPECTED TEMPERATURES (° C):

FUERTEVENTURA

Predominance of cloudy intervals, except cloudy skies during the first hours of the afternoon and intervals of high cloudiness at the end of the day. Slight decrease in minimum and maximum temperatures without changes. Loose wind from the northeast, more intense during the afternoon.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EXPECTED TEMPERATURES (° C):

GRAN CANARIA

Intervals of low cloudiness in the north with little probability of light and occasional rains. In the rest, little cloudy except for intervals of evolution in interior areas, as well as intervals of high cloudiness. Minimum temperatures with few changes, maximums in slight ascent, this being more pronounced in interior areas of the north slope. Northeast wind, more intense on the southeast and northwest slopes in the early afternoon. Breezes predominate on the north and southwest slopes.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EXPECTED TEMPERATURES (° C):

Palmas de Gran Canaria, The 19 23

TENERIFE

Intervals of low cloudiness in the north. Little cloudy in the rest, except for intervals of evolution in interior areas, as well as intervals of high cloudiness. Likely occasional rains in the north and southwest slopes, less likely in the rest of the island. Temperatures with few changes or in slight decrease. Northeast wind, something more intense occasionally in the southeast slope and in the northwest point. Breezes predominate on the north and west coasts.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EXPECTED TEMPERATURES (° C):

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 18 23

LA GOMERA

Intervals of high and low clouds, without ruling out weak and occasional rains in the first half of the day on the north slope. Temperatures with little change. Northeast wind, with intervals of greater intensity in the extreme east and northwest. Breezes predominate on the north and south coasts.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EXPECTED TEMPERATURES (° C):

San Sebastian de la Gomera 19 24

THE PALM

Intervals of low cloud cover in the north and east of the island. Little cloudy in the rest, except for intervals of evolution in inland areas, as well as intervals of high cloudiness. Probable occasional rains in the northeast of the island, in the rest, low probability of occasional light rains. Temperatures with few changes or slight rise. Northeast wind, something more intense punctually in the extreme southeast and northwest. Breezes predominate on the northeast and west coasts. At high levels, a predominant north-northeast wind, so that if the volcano’s emission continues, the ashes would tend to move towards the south-southwest.

Santa Cruz de la Palma 18 22

THE IRON

Predominance of intervals of high and low cloudiness, without ruling out weak and occasional rains in the first half of the day in the north of the island. Minimum temperatures slightly rising in inland areas and southern slopes, maximums with few changes. Northeast wind, with intervals of greater intensity in the extreme south and in the western tip. Breezes predominate on the north and southwest coasts.
