SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 15 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Los Llanos de Aridane City Council, through the Municipal Services and Works Councils, has asked the neighbors for collaboration to facilitate the removal of ashes from the streets of the municipality.
From both councils they ask the neighbors to respect the signs that prohibit parking to facilitate the work of municipal workers, volunteers and companies hired to clean up ashes.
Likewise, it is recalled that the City Council is making a significant effort to hire local companies and reach all areas as quickly as possible.
“It is essential that the neighbors collaborate by leaving the requested parking areas free. If they do not do it, the work cannot be carried out effectively, since the vehicles hinder the work,” said José María Rivera, councilor for Municipal Services, who He recalled that the signs with which the neighbors are warned are being placed at least two days in advance.
For his part, the Councilor for Works, Francisco Leal, also stressed that “it is important that there are no cars parked above the sewers, since the ashes cannot be removed, and with the risk that this entails before the arrival of the rains “.
The Los Llanos de Aridane City Council is carrying out a crash plan to clean up ash in which more than 200 tons are being removed daily.
