SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands has clarified this Thursday that finally, the classes in the municipalities of El Paso, Los Llanos de Aridane, Tazacorte, Tijarafe and Puntagorda will continue electronically and not in person, as the substitute technical director of Pevolca, Rubén Fernández.
Sources from the Ministry explain to Europa Press that the Pevolca management had given the Ministry the green light to resume classes without using the outdoor facilities due to the improvement in air quality, but the regional department maintains that the centers “are not prepared “after the large amount of ash fallen in recent days.
From Education they specify that tomorrow the situation of all the facilities will be evaluated and a decision will be made next Monday.
