The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, through the general staff table, has approved by majority this week the Public Job Offer (OPE) for 2021, which includes a total of 59 places.
Of these 59 places, 42 are open access and 17 are for internal promotion. In addition, 20 are destined for the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife although there are another five from 2019, as reported by the City Council.
In this regard, it is clarified that “it is not clear” if the General State Budgets (PGE) of 2022 will allow local public administrations to cover the “real needs” they currently have.
Of the total number of places offered, excluding from the calculation those corresponding to the Local Police, 7% (two places) is reserved, as legally foreseen, for people with some type of disability.
This OPE will be submitted to the Governing Board on Tuesday, November 2, with the intention of obtaining its approval.
