One death and 82 infections of covid-19 in the Canary Islands

According to data from the Regional Ministry of Health, regarding the deceased, it is an 83-year-old man in Tenerife who suffered from previous pathologies and remained admitted to the hospital.

Likewise, of the total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands, 853 are active, of which 18 are admitted to the ICU, 62 remain hospitalized and 773 are at home.

According to the Accumulated incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands rises slightly to 23.35 cases per 100,000 inhabitants already 14 days to 38.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife it adds 45 cases and accumulates 46,131, of which 364 are epidemiologically active; while Gran canaria reports 25 more cases to accumulate 36,839, of which 325 are active.

LanzaroteFor its part, it adds 5 new cases and accumulates 7,033, of which 91 are epidemiologically active; while Fuerteventura has 4,551 accumulated cases by adding 5 new cases, currently having 67 active.

The Palm adds two new cases and accumulates 1,114 cases, three of them active; while The iron it does not register new cases, so it remains at 467, of which one is active.

While, La GomeraFinally, it has not reported new cases, placing its accumulated at 406, two of them active.

Until this Saturday, a total of 2,223,806 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 4,232 correspond to yesterday.
