A Maritime Rescue boat has cut down to the port of Los Cristianos the 57 occupants of a cayuco, including two minors, one of them a baby, and a pregnant woman, who was sighted a mile off the southwest coast of Tenerife.
Sources of the emergency service 1-1-2 report that there are 46 adult men, two minors and seven women, all of them of sub-Saharan origin and in good health, although the pregnant woman has been transferred following the protocol to the hospital of the Candelaria.
The cayuco was sighted a mile off the southwest coast of Tenerife, as reported by Salvamento Marítimo, and it was a boat that raised the alarm.
The Helimer 201 rescue helicopter was transferred there, although a boat of this organization was in a nearby area assisting three bathers in distress in Costa del Silencio, Arona, with which they have arrived almost immediately where the cayuco is, which was going adrift.
