SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 60-year-old woman has suffered serious burns in the fire in a house located on Juan Castro Macías street, in the municipality of Güímar, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 and the Firefighters Consortium.
The event occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert that reported a fire in a room located on the ground floor of a house in El Tablado and in which they burned belongings, resulting in injury to a woman with several burns.
Members of the Fire Consortium extinguished the flames and ventilated the building. The SUC health personnel treated the affected woman, who required transfer to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital after presenting a serious eye burn.
