The beaches of Las Caletillas, sector 1 of Punta Larga beach (the closest to Candelaria), La Hornilla and Olegario Beach are currently open and ready for use.

Throughout this afternoon and attending to the tides, the cleaning teams will be able to continue in sector 2 of Punta Larga Beach (closer to Caletillas), Playa de la Viuda and Playa de los Guanches, indicates the Consistory.
Since the beginning of the week, a hydrocarbon spill, whose origin is unknown, has affected several bathing areas in the municipalities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Candelaria, Güímar and Arafo.
