SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 29 Jan (Europa Press) –
The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Rosa Dávila (CC), along with the vice president, Lope Afonso (PP), have asserted on Wednesday that the reorganisation of the new administration in Arona, headed by Fatima Lemes (PP), which is expected to include two representatives from Vox, is a measure aimed at ensuring “the stability” of governance within the municipality.
When questioned about this matter during a press conference concerning the agreements of the Governing Council, Afonso stated that his party colleague, Fatima Lemes, has expressed the “need to enhance public services, investments that transform the municipality, and that the initiatives proposed by the governing group at the outset of the term have a lasting impact.”
The vice president further articulated that from the perspective of the Popular Party in Tenerife, what Primar aims for is “local political stability” with the “sole aim of benefitting the citizens,” a sentiment that Rosa Dávila endorsed, indicating that what “primarily” matters is institutional stability.
