Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 27th January (Europa Press) –
A total of three women sustained injuries due to various circumstances when they were struck by a tourist vehicle in Sauzal, located on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of the 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon on Herrera Street in the aforementioned municipality. Emergency personnel from the Canarian Emergency Department (SUC) were dispatched to the scene and upon arrival, they discovered that a 21-year-old woman had multiple moderate trauma injuries. She was subsequently transported by a medicalised ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
Two other women were also attended to, one of whom is 23 years old and initially presented with minor contusions. They were taken to the San Juan de Dios hospital via ambulances.
On site, the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium secured the vehicle that had struck the victims and assisted with the resources deployed. Additionally, Local Police officers conducted the necessary investigations.
