SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE 24 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A total of five individuals have sustained injuries, with one in a critical condition, after their vehicle overturned on the TF-5, heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the San Benito area of La Laguna, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.

The incident occurred at 5:20 a.m. this Sunday, where personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived to find a 30-year-old man suffering from severe trauma to his upper limb, requiring transfer by ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.

They also provided assistance to a 36-year-old man, who initially presented with moderate trauma to his lower limb, without complications, and was subsequently transferred by ambulance to Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital. Another 36-year-old individual was similarly affected, having sustained minor trauma to his upper limb.

Additionally, a 39-year-old woman was treated for moderate trauma to her upper limb, again without complications, and was taken by ambulance to San Juan de Dios Hospital. A 30-year-old woman was also attended to at the accident site due to experiencing an anxiety attack.

Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium responded to the accident scene, securing the overturned vehicle and assisting emergency services, while staff from the Road Maintenance Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife conducted clean-up operations on the road. Civil Guard officers managed traffic along the route and prepared the necessary report.
