SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Civil Guard has located a citizen of foreign nationality who had lost his way while hiking in an area near the La Palma volcano exclusion zone.
The events occurred last night, when the notice was received that a hiker had communicated by mobile with the emergency services, not knowing where he was.
Immediately, various resources were mobilized for its location and at 03:00 hours contact with it was lost, possibly due to the lack of battery in the mobile phone.
At that time the GREIM of the Civil Guard was activated, which after several hours of searching found it, with several scratches but in good condition and conscious, being transferred by the health services for evaluation in a health center.
