Great island investment to take care of the nature of Tenerife

He Tenerife Council destinyto 5.3 million euros to improve different natural spaces on the Island. The insular Government Council yesterday approved an investment of 3.2 million for the National Park of Teide and another of 1.4 in the Anaga Rural Park.

The president of the insular institution, Rosa Davila, and the vice president, Lope Afonso, gave an account of the approved agreements at a press conference. These include the commission to Gesplan for the execution of the construction project for the recovery and protection of vegetation on the roadsides, specifically on the TF-21 (La Orotava-Granadilla de Abona), TF-24 (La Esperanza) roads. -Las Cañadas) and TF-38 (Chío-Boca de Tauce). The water problem

The council also endorsed an item of approximately 760,600 euros, intended for Rafts of Tenerife (Balten) to finance the action called Desalination of regenerated water in the municipality of Güímar, which will contribute to improving the situation of farmers in the area as a way to alleviate the water crisis suffered by the countryside.
