Santa Cruz of Tenerife yesterday hosted the opening of the show Nature on in it Capital Palmetuma proposal that will officially open to the public today until January 21, 2024.

The mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, was in charge of pressing the power button for this lighting installation, in an act in which he was also accompanied by the CEO of Let’s Go, the event’s production company, Iñaki Fernández.

The councilor indicated that “Santa Cruz joins other capitals such as Madrid, Barcelona or Bilbao that have similar shows and, in our case, the main thing is the location that we give to this proposal in the Palmetum.”

Bermúdez added that, “although this palm tree garden, unique in the world, is designed to be visited during the day, now with Naturaleza Encendida it is given another different and artistic enjoyment by being surrounded by more than twenty light scenes that transform it into an unforgettable experience.” for visitors.”

Naturaleza Encendida is an artistic spectacle of light intervention in outdoor spaces that enhances the existing vegetation, creating customized environments and immersive experiences through technology.

On this occasion, Explorium is released, a tribute to the 16th century maritime expedition that Ferdinand Magellan began and Juan Sebastián Elcano completed by heading into the unknown. An adventure that marked the first trip around the world and also included an extra activity for the public. A digital art exhibition called Botanical Expeditions that reviews some of the scientific excursions organized in said historical period.

This edition can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday, from 6:15 p.m. until the last screening at 10:45 p.m. (except on Christmas dates, when the opening days will be extended), with a duration of 15 minutes each screening. Prices range between 12 euros and 14 euros (general adult), and tickets can be purchased through this Web.

On Nature opened its doors for the first time in 2020 and its success has allowed it to expand to other locations to understand the relationship between science and the influence that humans are exerting on the environment.
