SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 23 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The United Nations flag is flying these days on the main facade of the Parliament of the Canary Islands on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the organization.

Specifically, according to the regional chamber, this October 24 will mark the 76th anniversary of the entry into force of the United Nations Charter.

In this regard, the President of Parliament, Gustavo Matos, stressed the need to reaffirm some principles in full force such as the defense of human rights, equality between women and men, dignity and freedom, strengthening international cooperation.
