The Tenerife Sports Press Association has announced the death of Antonio Expósito Mesafigure of local sports journalism in Tenerife for several decades.
Antonio Expósito, born in La Orotava, was a correspondent for decades for Jornada Deportiva and Radio Popular (now Cadena Cope). He followed the news of UD Orotava and CB San Isidro, in addition to presenting different events related to Orotava sports.
Antonio Expósito was also recognized with the gold insignia of the Sports Press Association of Tenerife, the gold insignia of the Insular Basketball Federation or the distinction of honor from the La Orotava Sports Gala.
