According to the insular counselor for Roads, Enrique Arriaga, it is an emergency work to prevent the fall of debris on the road “after the continuous episodes of landslides detected in the area have accumulated gravel and large rocks behind the wall. size that could fall on the road ”.
The action will consist of the removal of the detached material, and the repair and regrowth of the retaining wall.
The works will be carried out during the day and it will be necessary to make specific cuts in traffic that will be signaled, explains Arriaga.
