After leaving from the south of Dakar, this white canoe traveled some 1,500 kilometers until it arrived in Las Galletas, in the Tenerife municipality of Arona, in the south of the island.

In parallel, the Salvamar Ízar de Salvamento Marítimo rescued another 57 people of sub-Saharan origin in the south of Fuerteventura, two of them women, who were sailing in a pneumatic boat, who were disembarked in the port of Gran Tarajal.

With these, there are four boats located in the last hours in Canary Islands waters, after the two inflatables assisted by Salvamento Marítimo in the early hours of Tuesday with 120 people on board, one in Gran Canaria and the other in Fuerteventura.
