The cayuco arrived this Tuesday by its own means to the south of Tenerife left Mbour nine days ago, south of the capital of Senegal, according to what its occupants have declared, and one of the five evacuated to hospital centers is one of the eleven minors not accompanied who were in it.
This was confirmed this Wednesday to EFE by sources from the emergency services that provided humanitarian aid to these people, – 56 men, two women and eleven children -, upon their arrival at the port of Las Galletas, where 18 of them received medical assistance and another five were referred to different hospitals on the island.
One of them, a minor, was transferred with a picture of hypothermia and severe dehydration to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital, as specified by 112.
It arrives by its own means at the Pier of Las Galletas, Arona, #Tenerifea boat with 69 migrants on board.

After leaving from the south of Dakar, this white canoe traveled some 1,500 kilometers until it arrived in Las Galletas, in the Tenerife municipality of Arona, in the south of the island.
In parallel, the Salvamar Ízar de Salvamento Marítimo rescued another 57 people of sub-Saharan origin in the south of Fuerteventura, two of them women, who were sailing in a pneumatic boat, who were disembarked in the port of Gran Tarajal.
With these, there are four boats located in the last hours in Canary Islands waters, after the two inflatables assisted by Salvamento Marítimo in the early hours of Tuesday with 120 people on board, one in Gran Canaria and the other in Fuerteventura.
