The project has been delayed due to complications in making the orotavense city council of the land needed for the works. The orography of the land, with a significant slope, has made it necessary to conceive a park with different levels, marked by trails, paths and viewpoints. In addition, there will be a large playground and a terrace-viewpoint on the upper level. Exercise equipment and a calisthenics area will also be installed, as in Opuntia.

The park will also have an attached public parking area, equipped with some 33 seats. The improvement and expansion of Puenteareas street will also allow for an increase in parking spaces in the area.

The project has been developed by the Municipal Technical Office. The Town Hall will obtain the resources to tender this work from the liquidation of the 2022 budget and charged to the remaining municipal treasury. The beginning of the works will be one of the first challenges of the municipal Corporation that emanates from the polls on May 28.
