The Csif union of the Local police of Santa Cruz insisted yesterday that the lack of troops and planning is putting citizens and the agents themselves at risk.

The union gave as an example the incidents that occurred this weekend in the capital, where a man was injured at the festival of Los Campitos, where he assures the Csif that there was no police presence, as well as in the brawl that took place in the Valleseco festivities, in which they received support from the National Police.

According to the City Council itself, in the case of Los Campitos, the police intervention occurred thanks to various citizen requests to come and put order in the place. In Valleseco, which did have a police presence, the party was suspended due to a massive brawl in which one was injured.
