The best wine list in the Canary Islands is in Adeje

The donaire restaurantof the hotel G.F. VictoryIn coast Adejerecently received the award for the Best Wine List in the Canary Islands Regional Wine List Contest organized by the Canary Islands Protected Designation of Origin Management Body canarywine. Paula Andrea Rojasrestaurant sommelier, together with Gustavo Hernandezdirector of GF Victoria, were in charge of collecting this award from the hand of Javier Gilapresident of the Madrid Association of Sommeliers at an event held in Garachico.

In its XIX edition, this award assesses the number of references and, at the same time, the good selection of wines in each restaurant. For the jury, the letter from the donaire restaurant stands out for being “clean and easy to understand”. A letter “very dynamic and educational both for knowledgeable clients and for those who are not”, according to Gila.

This assessment received with satisfaction from Paula Andrea Rojas “Because it is the recognition of the effort to offer a quality experience in which we are committed to the Canarian product, both on the plate and in its pairing”. Gustavo Hernandez He insisted that “both at Donaire and at GF Victoria (five-star grand luxury) we must follow the path of excellence, combining values ​​such as closeness and rootedness with sustainability and innovation.”

This contest aims to help improve the presentation and content of the wine lists of Canarian restaurants.. An initiative that aims to make customers and consumers feel informed and learn about the best wines from the eleven designations of origin of the Archipelago.

The Donaire restaurant, located on the fourth floor of the hotel G.F. Victoryis a project led by Francisco Expósito that stands out for its authenticity and great commitment to the Canarian producta tribute to traditional recipes, under a fresh and renewed look, marked by the experience and professionalism of its team.
