The Vice-President of the exhibition institution, Manuel Fernández, highlights that “this event consolidates the collaboration between the Cabildo and ASINTRA in organising reference events for the automotive sector.”
The Tenerife Exhibition Centre will host the II Asintrauto Congress next November, an initiative driven by ASINTRA (Industrial Association of Automobile Repair Workshops of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife), in collaboration with the Cabildo of Tenerife.
To “finalise the details of this event,” the Councillor for Industry and Vice-President of the Exhibition Centre, Manuel Fernández, held a working meeting with the President and Vice-President of ASINTRA, Francisco Roca and José Ángel Izquierdo, respectively. This aims to “reinforce an alliance that was established during the first edition of the Asintrauto Congress, with the objective of making this event a reference for the automotive sector in the Canary Islands.”
The II Asintrauto Congress will feature seven speakers, including the renowned ‘Rebel Workshop Owner’, Santi Bécares, Javier Sendín, and Iván Martín.
The event will take place at the Exhibition Centre from 8:30 am on 29 November and will extend until 7:00 pm, following a round table that will bring together specialists from the repair sector and leaders from Femete -of which ASINTRA is a part- and CETRAA (Spanish Confederation of Workshops).
Manuel Fernández highlighted during the working meeting that “the intent of this government is to position the Tenerife exhibition institution as a reference space on the island and in the Canary Islands for hosting major events.” He concluded that “moreover, we understand that it is essential to support productive sectors, particularly the industrial sector, in order to strengthen the economy of our island, ensuring the generation of stable and quality employment.”
