The international chain Starbucks continues its expansion in the Canary Islands with the opening of a new establishment in the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
With this inauguration, the island adds its seventh outlet of the brand.
This store is part of Starbucks’ growth plan in the Canaries, where it already operates a total of ten establishments in collaboration with the local company IKARIA 2025 S.L..
The new establishment is located at 11 Bethencourt Alfonso Street, on the corner with San Francisco Street, a strategic area of the urban centre.
The premises has an area of 108 square metres and a total capacity of 58 seats, divided between the interior (18 seats) and an outdoor terrace (40 seats), designed to offer a comfortable al fresco experience.
The opening hours are from 7:00 to 21:00, adapted to the routine of both residents and visitors, who can enjoy the wide range of drinks, coffees, and seasonal products that the brand has to offer.
According to the brand in a statement, with this new opening, Starbucks “has created 13 new direct jobs in Tenerife”, strengthening its team of baristas responsible for preparing the brand’s most iconic drinks.
Additionally, “the store aligns with Starbucks’ sustainability policy, recently incorporating compostable and recyclable coffee cups for takeaway, certified for domestic use.”
The inauguration included a promotional action aimed at the first 50 customers.
The first three received a package consisting of an Ioza mug, a tote bag, and a packet of coffee, while the next 47 were gifted a tote bag and a reusable cup.
