On Thursday 10th July, at 6:00 PM, as part of IECan Espacio Cultural, we will host the presentation of the book ‘Botanicaplicada’, by Imeldo López and Manolo García.
Just as three years ago with their first photo-book Des-paisajes, Botanicaplicada emerges as an attempt at mixing visual, graphic, timeless art and photography with auditory, sound, temporal poetry. It contains 40, but not pairs, rather “quadruples”, if one could say: an image created by Imeldo receives text from Manolo in the form of poetic prose; then Imeldo interprets the original image through pencil drawing; and finishes the “conversation” with a small lyrical-philosophical text from Manolo.
This event is free to enter until capacity is reached.
