The Leal Theatre presents a musical journey for all audiences this weekend.

The cultural space will host performances by Los Gofiones, Estrellas de Buena Vista, and Más, along with a selection of zarzuela and a new edition of Sun Dance Family Sessions.

The Teatro Leal will welcome a musical weekend where genre lovers can indulge in Canarian folklore, Latin music, and electronic influences. Tomorrow, 18th July, there will be a lyrical gala in aid of the Red Cross, while on Saturday, 19th July, the Gran Canarian group Los Gofiones will present their new album. Finally, on Sunday, 20th July, it will be the turn of the family activity Sun Dance Family Sessions and the Cuban music concert by Estrellas de Buena Vista and Más.

On Friday, 18th July, at 20:00 hours, a gala will take place aiming to raise funds for the Red Cross. Attendees will be able to enjoy some of the most prominent voices in the lyrical scene and a journey through the classical genre of zarzuela.

On Saturday night, from 20:30 hours, the Gran Canarian group Los Gofiones will entertain with their new album, Querida Venezuela, a tribute to the musical richness of the South American country and its ties to the archipelago. With a selection of songs such as Epa Isidoro, Malagueñas Margariteñas, and Canto a Canarias, they will delight lovers of Latin music.

The cultural programme will continue on Sunday, 20th July. From 11:30 hours, families can enjoy the electronic music of Sun Dance Family Sessions, an activity organised by the Laboratory of Living Arts and Citizenship of Tenerife. During this event, a DJ and a movement professional will demonstrate that, through dance, both young and old can take care of their health.

On the same day, at 20:00 hours, there will be a performance by Estrellas de Buena Vista and Más, composed of original members and new generations of the iconic Buena Vista Social Club. Under the musical direction of Pancho Amat, the project aims to preserve cultural heritage and revive the golden age of Cuban music.
