TLP Tenerife 2025 is already underway. The most important technological event in Canarias has opened its doors at the Tenerife Fairgrounds, where thousands of young people will gather until 20th July to enjoy video games, innovation, Asian culture and limitless entertainment.

The official presentation of the event took place today with the participation of key institutional representatives such as Rosa Dávila, President of the Cabildo of Tenerife; Juan José Martínez, Councillor for Innovation; Alfonso Cabello, Vice-Councillor of the Presidency of the Government of Canarias; José Manuel Bermúdez, Mayor of Santa Cruz, and Idaira Febles, Director of TLP Tenerife.

Technology, training and youth employment

During the event, Rosa Dávila emphasized that TLP Tenerife not only offers entertainment but also “a gateway to new training and employment opportunities” for youth. She also highlighted that the event has returned to its original dates and is expected to surpass last year’s attendance figures.

For his part, Juan José Martínez thanked the efforts of the organizing team and the support from entities such as CanaLink, which is responsible for the event’s connectivity, and the Tenerife Science and Technology Park. He pointed out that TLP is a “great opportunity to attract gaming and animation industry to the island.”

Alfonso Cabello reinforced this vision: “Tenerife becomes the world capital of gaming for six days.” Furthermore, he reminded that the sector already has 40 companies and 200 jobs, as well as 38,000 young people training in related fields.

José Manuel Bermúdez described TLP as “one of the most important events for youth in Santa Cruz,” while Idaira Febles emphasized the event’s inclusive nature: “The Summer-Con area is designed for all audiences.”

LAN Party and over 200 activities

The heart of TLP remains its LAN Party Zone, where nearly 1,000 participants live together for six days, connected with their computers 24 hours a day. The first premium participants started arriving on Monday, and today general access is complete.

More than 200 activities are scheduled, including workshops, competitions, entertainment, games, raffles, and much more, coordinated by around a hundred professionals and up to 50 volunteers.

TLP Circuit Storm: National Finals in Tenerife is part of the competitive landscape, hosting the much-anticipated finals of the Circuit Storm, the largest amateur esports structure in Spain. Teams such as Nocturne Gale, Oxygen Gaming, Otakar Esports, and Suzaku Esports will compete in tournaments for League of Legends and VALORANT.

TLP Innovates and Indie Awards: Training and Talent

The TLP Innovates area offers a comprehensive agenda of talks, workshops, and presentations focused on innovation and employability. The TLP Indie Awards will also take place there, offering €15,000 for the best indie game, in addition to awards in other categories such as art, narrative, innovative mechanics, and diversity.

Summer-Con: Pop Culture for All

Open to the general public, the Summer-Con is a space filled with cultural activities: k-pop, cosplay, karaoke, outdoor screenings, board games, shops, competitions, and meet-ups with content creators. It will be active from Wednesday through to Saturday.
