The craze for Karol G, globally known as the Bichota, continues to grow, and now it’s hitting the roads. Tenerife is joining a trend that has already covered thousands of kilometres: putting iconic phrases from the singer on the rear windows of vehicles.

This Wednesday, July 9, a Range Rover was spotted driving through the south of the island with a message that did not go unnoticed: “The makinón isn’t the car, it’s the bichota driving it”, referring to the well-known song ‘El Makinón’ by the Colombian artist. The phrase, placed in white letters on the rear window, caused a stir among drivers.

The Big Deal Isn’t the Car

This isn’t the first time something like this has been seen in Tenerife. Just a month ago, another car surprised drivers on the TF-1 south motorway with the message: “In the little house, I have a love waiting for me”, a line taken from the song ‘Milagros’ by Karol G. The moment was captured by user Anahíes Rosales (@anahisrosal) and shared on TikTok, where the video generated dozens of comments and reactions.

The phenomenon not only reflects the unstoppable popularity of the artist but also how her lyrics have become genuine life mottos for many fans who now carry them even in their cars. In Tenerife, at least, the Bichota is making her presence felt.
