The former Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos, is set to testify next Monday before the Investigation Commission of the Canary Islands Parliament regarding the procurement of medical supplies during the pandemic, as per information from Chamber sources.
His testimony was initially planned for this Monday but was deferred due to personal circumstances, alongside the Minister of Territorial Policy, Ángel Víctor Torres, who has postponed his schedule for medical reasons due to an upcoming operation for the cancer he is battling.
The Commission has convened more than thirty times and has summoned over fifty participants, with plans to conclude its activities in October following a second extension approved by the Commission’s panel.
