Borrasca Nuria Triggers Red Alert for Canary Islands: A Lasting Concern

The arrival of Borrasca Nuria this Thursday to the Canary Islands, which is forecasted to bring hurricane-force winds and substantial rainfall, has prompted the regional government to implement maximum alert measures. School activities have been shifted to a non-face-to-face format on the islands of Tenerife, La Palma, and La Graciosa. This decision aims to prevent unnecessary travel to educational institutions.
