Canary Islands Weather Forecast for Saturday: What to Expect According to Aemet

The State Meteorology Agency (Aemet) predicts that this Saturday, the Canary Islands will experience cloudy intervals, becoming overcast in inland areas during peak hours. At that time, there is a possibility of light and occasional rainfall on the islands with significant elevations.

According to AEMET, temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable, with likely light frosts in the central peaks of Tenerife. Winds will come from a gentle northwest direction, shifting to variable with a predominance of sea breezes.

Regarding sea conditions, winds will blow from the northwest at force 3 or 4, transitioning to variable conditions of 2 or 3 by midnight. There will be some disturbance that will also lessen to a slight wave state or even choppy seas, accompanied by northwest swells with waves reaching heights of up to four metres that will decrease to about one to three metres.
