Santa Cruz de Tenerife 8 Feb. (Europa Press) –
A driver has lost their life this Saturday following an accident involving a car on the TF-24 road, near the municipality of La Victoria de Acentejo, as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred around 11:30 am when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification regarding the collision between a car and a motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle sustained injuries, prompting CECOES to promptly activate the necessary emergency resources to respond to the scene.
Upon arrival, medical personnel from the Canarian Emergency Department confirmed that the individual was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began both basic and advanced resuscitation procedures.
Despite their efforts, the medical team was unable to reverse the situation and confirmed the individual’s demise.
Following this, the Civil Guard took charge of the investigation and subsequently worked to restore the road.
