The State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) anticipates that on Friday the Canary Islands will experience extremely strong winds on the southeast and northwest slopes of the mountainous islands. Additionally, light showers may occur in the latter part of the day in La Palma, Tenerife, and, with greater likelihood, in Gran Canaria.
