SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Jan. 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Tenerife Children and Youth Park (PIT) attracted approximately 60,000 visitors from Friday, December 20 to Sunday, January 5, who took part in 35 activities, training sessions, educational workshops, live performances, and rides.
The councillor and vice president of the Fairgrounds, Manuel Fernández, expressed delight at “the fantastic turnout that this initiative has once again received, which has established itself over time as a key venue for the Christmas celebrations in Tenerife, with this edition being the most popular yet.”
Fernández remarked that the PIT “has been a hallmark of enjoyment and entertainment for thousands of families in Tenerife since 1989, and even though there is an increasing array of entertainment options provided by various authorities during the festive season across the island, interest in the PIT continues to thrive and expand.”
The councillor noted that among the activities and attractions available at the Tenerife Children and Youth Park, the Ice Rink once again generated the highest level of anticipation, according to a statement from the Cabildo.
Additionally, attendees relished activities and attractions such as La Escalada, the Casa del Miedo, los Cochitos Locos, a sports area, the Sinpromi stand, and the ‘PIT de la Inclusión’, which was hosted in collaboration with IAASS users, among others.
Manuel Fernández reminded everyone that the park operated with 250 staff members each day, ensuring smooth operations. This dedicated team maintained constant communication with the public and was specifically trained for their roles, which included attraction supervisors, security personnel, medical staff, cleaning crews, and event organisers.
