A vessel carrying approximately 70 migrants, pending the final headcount on land, docked this Monday at the port of La Restinga, according to sources from Maritime Rescue.
The boat was spotted by the Civil Guard at around 1:30 p.m., eight miles south of the island, prompting the deployment of the Civil Guard patrol boat Río Segura, the Salvamar Adhara, and a Red Cross auxiliary vessel to assist.
Ultimately, the Salvamar Adhara escorted the boat safely until it reached the harbour.
This marks the fourth migrant boat to arrive at the archipelago on this Monday, with nearly 300 individuals on board.
