SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 31 December (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 51-year-old man sustained serious chest injuries in the early hours of Tuesday after the vehicle he was operating left the road in Adeje.
The incident took place just before 3:15 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands government received a report about the vehicle’s departure from the road at the entrance roundabout to the La Atalaya area.
Firefighters secured the vehicle involved in the accident and extricated its occupant from within the cabin. Personnel from SUC assessed and provided assistance to him before deciding to transport him via ambulance to La Candelaria Hospital.
The Civil Guard completed the necessary report while the Local Police assisted the other emergency services present.
