SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Nov. 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Vice President of the Government of the Canary Islands and President of the PP in the islands, Manuel Domínguez, stated this Thursday that no individual with political and institutional duties “had stained the islands as much” due to his alleged connection to the ‘Koldo case’ as the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres.
Speaking to reporters, he made a jest that Torres has experienced several “oversights” because “he forgets about WhatsApp, he forgets who he converses with, he fails to recognise those he knows; in essence, he is a person who has been enduring a recent decline in memory, change of mind, or outright dishonesty”.
In this regard, he believes it is “time for him to take on responsibilities” beyond what he “asserted” in the Senate inquiry committee since in the earlier one “he claimed that they could examine his mobile phone and they would find nothing linking him to those now revealed to have connections”.
Consequently, he highlighted that “we must initiate the process of clarifying responsibilities to subsequently restore credibility to politics” and make it more accessible to the citizens.
