The digital content creator María Soldier, popularly known as Mery Soldier, will be the presenter of the eleventh edition of Tecnológica Santa Cruz, which will take place on March 24 at the Guimerá Theater. This was announced yesterday by the CEO of the Development Society, Alfonso Cabello, who explained that “it is an important national streamer.”
In this sense, the mayor stressed that “Mery Soldier is Valencian, although she lives in Madrid, she is a graduate in Biotechnology, a creator of digital content for more than six years and is currently a streamer on Twitch, being one of the ambassadors in Spain of this social network”. In addition, he pointed out that she “combines her work on Twitch and on digital platforms with collaborations as a presenter, as she could be seen recently at the Samsung Unpacked Show event.” Likewise, Cabello pointed out that “she is a young woman who has a wide community of followers on her social networks, with more than 769,500 followers in total”, and stressed that, “in addition, she stands out both for her undergraduate studies in Biotechnology, as in her work as an organizer of video game and eSports events”.
“This latest incorporation aims to give added value to this edition, thanks to a renowned presenter and creator of digital content who has numerous records and who has already performed these tasks on numerous occasions,” said Cabello, who indicated that, “in addition, on a day like today [ayer]in which we commemorate Women’s Day, we can affirm that this edition will have seven women out of 11 participants for March 24 at the Guimerá Theater, and that they join the two professionals who will star in the Late Fight, so we brought together almost a dozen women”.
Alfonso Cabello stressed that, “after the additions announced yesterday [lunes]in which we confirm the last two speakers, that is, the Chief Metaverse Officer of Telefónica, Yaiza Rubio, to talk about the metaverse, and the CTO of Newtral, Rubén Míguez, who will address his work in a real scenario of the fight against disinformation through Artificial Intelligence, and which these days becomes even more relevant given the war events that we are experiencing in Ukraine, now joins the presenter, who will act as master of ceremonies in an eleventh edition that, as we see, will be very special ”.
