Yesterday, the Médano Group unveiled Residencial MarinaGolf Tenerife, a luxurious residential complex boasting over 100 high-end residences to be situated in Amarilla Golf, within the municipality of San Miguel de Abona. The investment for this development amounts to 60 million euros.
As stated by the company, Residencial MarinaGolf Tenerife represents the most ambitious initiative in the history of the Médano Group. The complex will feature three distinct types of residences: 25 luxurious villas, a collection of townhouses with gardens, and a group of homes that includes an indoor swimming pool.
Fernando Vega, CEO of Grupo Médano, explained that the design integrates “modernity and sustainability,” employing industrialised construction techniques which reduce the carbon footprint and markedly decrease construction times. “This is the pinnacle of a career marked by projects across the island and various markets, ranging from public housing (VPO) to luxury complexes. Yet, MarinaGolf stands out as exceptional. It offers a product that enhances the image of Tenerife, competing in quality with locations such as Marbella and providing options from apartments to ultra-luxurious villas.” Vega further noted that the project aims to diversify and enhance the tourist and residential offerings of the Island, targeting a discerning clientele that seeks exclusivity.
MarinaGolf benefits from its prime location by the sea alongside a golf course and a marina for boats, positioning itself as an appealing destination for both discerning tourists and residents.
Among those attending the launch were Óscar Izquierdo, president of Fepeco, and strategic partners of the Médano Group, including José Jiménez. Izquierdo hailed Grupo Médano as “an exemplary firm, capable of overcoming challenges and executing landmark projects. We take pride in having companies like Grupo Médano in the Canary Islands. They not only deliver excellence but also commit to sustainability and modernity in construction. This project at Amarilla Golf serves as a clear testament to the progress we must continue to make as a society.”
The Urban Planning Councillor of San Miguel de Abona, Rafael Baute, and the Tourism Councillor, Laura Paiz, were also in attendance, endorsing the project as a catalyst for economic development in the area.
Rafael Baute commented, “It is crucial for companies like this to invest in San Miguel,” asserting that this complex “will create jobs, bolster the economy, and position the municipality as a top-tier destination.” Echoing these sentiments, Laura Paiz emphasised that such investments “enhance the business framework and cement our reputation in sustainability and modernity.”
