The awards ceremony, which took place in Valencia, saw the attendance of two representatives from the centre’s educational team: María Goretti Rosales and Verónica Yoleidy Castro, the coordinator and secretary, respectively, of the Front and Behind the Cameras project. They accepted the award on behalf of the entire educational community and expressed their heartfelt appreciation, emphasising the significance of this recognition for their students, who serve as a genuine example of improvement and hard work every day.
This accolade signifies a crucial acknowledgment of the centre’s dedication to inclusion and the enhancement of all its students’ capabilities, while also underscoring the power of cinema as an educational resource that fosters sensitivity and an understanding of diversity.
