A man sustained severe injuries after being assaulted with a knife around midnight this Sunday in the Llano del Camello Industrial Estate, located in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona, in southern Tenerife.
As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2, an alert was received regarding an injured individual on the public road, prompting the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) to respond to the incident.
Upon arrival, medical personnel treated and stabilised the victim, who had sustained serious cuts to his upper limb and abdomen, before being transported by ambulance to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital.
Meanwhile, officers from the Local Police and the Civil Guard took charge of conducting the necessary investigations to elucidate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
